Job summary

Nesco Resource in Bedford, OH is hiring a Mechanical Assembly Technician to assemble sheet metal components and mechanical equipment on the 2nd shift. The role is contract-to-hire with pay $19.00-$23.00 per hour, based on experience, and offers weekly overtime.

You will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, operate overhead cranes, measure and cut materials, and inspect assemblies for quality. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass drug screen and background check are

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Experience working with sheet metal.
• Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sheet metal components and mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Use hand and power tools, including drills and impact wrenches.
• Safely operate overhead cranes.
• Measure, mark, and cut materials using a tape measure.
• Inspect finished assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Keep your work area clean while following safety guidelines.
