Job summary

Lochridge-Priest, Inc. is seeking a HVAC installer to join a crew for top quality installation of HVAC duct and equipment in the Fort Worth area. You will work with a team on equipment change outs, new installs, duct replacements, and related tasks.

The position requires reading blueprints, 1+ years' installation experience, and a safety-focused approach. Overtime and occasional travel outside the DFW area may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing HVAC systems and equipment.
• Capable of reading blueprints and manuals.
• Reliable with attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC duct and equipment as part of a crew.
• Set duct hangers and install metal ducts (round and rectangular) and flex duct.
• Assist in equipment change outs, new installations, and related tasks.
• Follow safety standards and wear PPE for all work.
• Travel to the DFW area and overtime as needed.

This position is responsible for providing top quality installation of all HVAC duct and equipment. You will work with a crew to do equipment change outs, new installs, duct replacements, compressor change outs,and splits, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safety oriented; Always wear proper PPE and comply with all safety standards and processes
• Must be capable of assisting with all phases of commercial work including the following:
• set duct hangers, install metal ducts round and rectangular, Flex duct, install Grills, setting equipment etc.
• Able to follow direction, production minded, team centered.
• Maintain personal tools to do the task required
• Assist in Receiving, verifying, Duct, Materials, and equipment delivered for the job.
• Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.
• Be willing to work overtime when needed
• Be willing to travel outside the DFW on occasion when required.

Skills

• Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to learn with eagerness to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
• Oneor moreyears’ experience in installation of all HVAC systems and equipment.
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
• Take personal responsibility of your work and ensure quality craftsmanship

Additional Qualifications

• Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Valid social security number
• Must be able to pass drug test(s) as required by company
• Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces.

• Maintain accurate time records and send to payroll when required
