Job summary

EmployBridge in Rogers, MN is seeking an experienced Shear Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and set up hydraulic shear equipment, maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

The role runs 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM full-time with overtime and occasional Saturdays. You will read work orders, verify material types and thicknesses, and ensure precise cuts according to production specs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hydraulic shear operating experience preferred.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00/hour DOE

Qualifications

• Previous hydraulic shear operating experience preferred, with 3+ years of experience strongly preferred.

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Ability to convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals.
• Ability to identify and differentiate various metal types and material thicknesses.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Flexibility to assist with other shop duties based on production demands.
