Job summary

Indigo Sky Casino & Hotel is seeking a bartender to set up, maintain, and operate the bar, taking drink orders from guests or servers and preparing cocktails and beverages according to standard recipes. You will handle payments at the register, keep the bar stocked, and ensure glassware is clean and garnishes are prepared.

The role requires customer service experience, the ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment, and the capacity to obtain Oklahoma liquor and tribal gaming licenses.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year bartending experience and strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain Oklahoma liquor license and gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders from patrons or servers and prepare and serve drinks according to standard recipes.
• Mix ingredients for cocktails and serve wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Enter orders into the POS system and handle payments and change.
• Wash and sterilize glassware and prepare garnishes for drinks.
• Take food orders for bar patrons and for take-out.
• Follow company procedures for side work and end-of-shift checkout.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Follows all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook and the “the general policies and procedures” section of the bartender training manual.• Maintains a positive attendance record by reporting to work for assigned shifts• Follows all sanitation and safety standards set for the by the company.• Meets all uniform, appearance, and grooming standards as specified in the employee handbook and bartender training manual• Maintains our guest service philosophy by following guest service standards.• Knows all menu items offered at the restaurant, accurately explains specials to guest, if asked, accurately answers menu items in regard to preparation method, ingredients, portion size, and side items accompanying the dish.
