Job summary

Nakupuna Companies is seeking a System Administrator to perform day-to-day administration, maintenance, and technical support for DoD Office of General Counsel collaboration platforms (SharePoint) and Appian environments.

The role includes managing SharePoint sites, permissions, migrations, and user requests, plus monitoring Linux-based servers and application deployments. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and CompTIA Security+ certification.

Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Hands-on experience administering SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, permissions, and content.
• Experience supporting SharePoint migrations or large-scale content-management activities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services including Teams and OneDrive.
• Working knowledge of Linux or Windows server administration.
• Experience monitoring servers, system resources, and logs.
• Experience troubleshooting application, access, configuration, and user-support issues.
• Understanding of least privilege access and cybersecurity practices.
• Experience creating technical procedures and user documentation.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer SharePoint Online sites, permissions, content migrations.
• Support Appian environments and Linux-based servers.
• Assist with application deployments and post-deployment validation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and requests.
• Maintain system documentation and SOPs including risk management evidence.
• Escalate complex infrastructure or security issues to senior engineers.
