Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a skilled SharePoint and full-stack developer to design and migrate solutions across hybrid and cloud environments. You will work with SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and .NET technologies to deliver secure, scalable applications for government missions.

The role requires a US citizen with a Top Secret/SCI clearance or eligibility, strong communication skills, and ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum setting. On-site work at client facilities may be involved.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field and 5+ years in application, software, and SharePoint development.
  • Strong analytical, detail-oriented, self-motivated and highly organized.
  • Proficient in SharePoint Online, hybrid architectures, and modern SharePoint environments.
  • Solid foundation in .NET Framework, C#, and ASP.NET.
  • Experience leveraging Microsoft Graph and REST APIs for data integration.
  • Federal government contracts knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication to interface with senior officials.
  • Must be a US citizen and capable of obtaining Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize custom SharePoint solutions across hybrid environments and cloud networks (SharePoint Online and GCC High).
  • Architect and deploy Power Platform solutions including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI dashboards/reports.
  • Lead migration of legacy on-premises C# SharePoint solutions and workflows.
  • Develop UI/UX for portals using Power Apps screens, forms, and tables.
  • Implement granular access controls and Active Directory integration to protect sensitive data.
  • Participate in the SDLC under an Agile/Scrum framework with accurate effort estimates and alignment to mission priorities.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job description

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

Includes the following:

  • Cloud & Hybrid Architecture: Design, build, and optimize custom SharePoint solutions across hybrid environments and cloud networks (including SharePoint Online and GCC High).
  • Power Platform Development: Architect and deploy sophisticated business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including custom Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), complex Power Automate cloud flows, and Power BI dashboards and Report Builder reports.
  • Workflow Automation & Migration: Lead efforts to migrate legacy on-premises C# SharePoint solutions and workflows.
  • Front-End Integration: Develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces (UI/UX) for portals using Power Apps screens, forms, and tables.
  • Data & System Governance: Implement granular access controls, security group governance, and Active Directory integration to protect highly sensitive, classified data repositories.
  • Agile Lifecycle Management: Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) under an Agile/Scrum framework, providing accurate estimates of effort and ensuring alignment with mission priorities.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technology related field (i.e. Computer Science); at least five years’ experience in application, software, and SharePoint development.
  • Must have good analytical skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and highly effective organizational skills
  • Strong working knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint hybrid architectures, and modern SharePoint environments.
  • Solid foundation in Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, and ASP.NET.
  • Experience leveraging Microsoft Graph and REST APIs for automated data integration and custom connectors.
  • Prefer knowledge of Federal government contracts and programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication/interpersonal skills to effectively interface with senior military and civilian officials, managers, and peers.
  • Must be able to adapt to a changing environment
  • Must be proficient in all MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving about the office for extended periods.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

In accordance with Virginia’s pay transparency requirements, the estimated annual salary range for this position is $140,000 – $155,000. Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
