Job summary

Comtech LLC in San Diego seeks a software developer focused on K2 workflow platforms to extend the product suite using K2 APIs and SDKs. The role emphasizes creating reusable components, workflows, and SmartObjects in alignment with the Solution Architect’s designs.

Ideal candidates will examine and streamline processes, build artifacts for the K2 Workflow Designer, and advocate effective workflow usage. Knowledge of Visual Studio and SharePoint is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience developing on the K2 platform using APIs/SDKs.
• Proficient in designing K2 workflows and SmartObjects.
• Experience with SharePoint integration.
• Familiar with PowerShell scripting.
• Maintains a change log for production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develops code with the K2 APIs/SDKs to extend the platform and create reusable components.
• Creates K2 artifacts like workflows and SmartObjects (SODX) within K2 designer tooling based on the Solution Architect’s design.
• Examines existing processes and restructures them to be more efficient.
• Creates artifacts usable by the K2 Workflow Designer.
• Promotes the benefits of effective workflow usage.
• Service-Broker – integrates K2 with Line of Business systems developed with Visual Studio.
• Experience with developing SharePoint, preferred.
• Some experience with PowerShell.
• Maintains a change management log for the production environment.

• Specialist in examining existing processes and re-structuring them to be more efficient
• Creates artifacts that can be used by the K2 Workflow Designer
• Evangelizes the benefits of effective use of workflow
• Service-Broker – integrates K2 with Line of Business systems developed with Visual Studio
• Experience with developing SharePoint, preferred
• Some experience with Powershell
• Maintaining a change management log for the production environment
