Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is seeking a Mid-Level SharePoint Developer to support the intelligence community. You will join a team of developers and admins designing, building, testing, deploying, and managing SharePoint sites.

Location includes Denver, CO or Annapolis Junction with a pay range of $117,000 to $146,000. Telework is not authorized. Contingent upon program award and a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of software engineering/development experience or equivalent.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
  • Experience with SharePoint development and portal customization.
  • Experience with MOSS object model, SharePoint Designer, and Workflows.
  • Strong Office, SQL Server and ECMS familiarity.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including shifts.

  • Support corporate Internet, Intranet and Extranet sites and apps.
  • Provide management consultation for clients.
  • Manage a SharePoint server environment across networks and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with clients and mission groups; develop usage reports and disk quota management.

Why This Is An Exciting Role

As a Mid-Level SharePoint Developer for BI&A, you’ll be supporting the intelligence community serving on a team of developers and administrators responsible for the design, build, test, deployment, and management of a suite SharePoint sites.

Additional Duties Include
  • Supporting the corporate Internet, Intranet and Extranet sites; internal and external web-based applications; and daily support and maintenance of applications.
  • Providing management consultation for a variety of clients.
  • Managing a SharePoint server environment on multiple networks and identifying and resolving technical problems during portal implementation and rollout.
  • Collaborating with the client and other mission groups and develop site usage reports and disk quota management.
Experience And Qualifications

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education And Years Of Experience
  • 8 Years of experience in Software Engineering/Development roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
  • A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience.
Required Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with an active CI Polygraph
  • Workflow development, using the MOSS object model, SharePoint Designer, and Workflows experience.
  • Experience with Portal site customization, including setting up securities, designing site structure and content types.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Web Front End servers, Index servers, Search Servers, Central Administrator servers, and SQL Server instances.
  • Experience with My Sites and Profile Service data, and experience with Excel services
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules, including potential shift work
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working independently within a cross-functional team.
  • Technical awareness of Enterprise Content Management Systems.
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills
  • SharePoint migration experience is a plus.
