Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a SharePoint Developer to support NCIS ITD in Quantico, VA. You will design and implement SharePoint-based solutions, integrate with web services, and ensure compliance with DoD records management and security requirements.

The role involves hybrid work: 3 days onsite at Quantico, VA and 2 days remote, with a focus on delivering dashboards, metadata structures, and user guides while collaborating with leadership and external partners.

Qualifications

• 8 years of SharePoint development experience with detailed understanding of SharePoint platform components
• Ability to create customized list and library forms at the code level
• Advanced understanding of CSS and master pages
• Proficiency with .NET Framework, C#, AngularJS, HTML, AJAX, ASP.NET, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, SharePoint Designer, Workflows, REST, IIS

Responsibilities

• Design new applications using SharePoint Controls and Web Services as part of the architecture
• Ensure SharePoint environment complies with DoD Records Management and accessibility requirements
• Deliver solutions to improve workflow efficiency, data sharing, and reporting
• Develop, test, and refine applications to meet stakeholder requirements and UI design
• Build web-based applications to meet client business needs
• Isolate, diagnose, repair and resolve software problems
• Collaborate with teams to implement applications, frameworks, and infrastructure changes
• Provide status and performance metrics to PMOs and technical offices
• Apply industry best practices to development efforts
• Train users and create documentation
