Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) in Massachusetts seeks a compassionate Shared Living Caregiver to provide in-home placement for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within our Shared Living program. You will open your home and heart to help clients stay healthy, active, and integrated into their communities.

Candidates must be 18+ and meet the program requirements, including background checks and a commitment to empowerment and rights for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor daily living activities while encouraging independence, competency, and decision-making
• Monitor overall health and well-being and provide support with medication treatment and related documentation
• Deliver crisis intervention and emergency support as needed
• Initiate and encourage community activities and foster social support networks
• Promote quality of life through empowerment, safety awareness, dignity, and respect
