The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) is seeking a General Manager.Under the policy direction of the Public Utilities Commission and reporting to the Mayor, the General Manager manages, plans, and organizes the activities and operations of the Commission; serves as administrative head in the Commission's relations with the public, legislative bodies, and federal, state, and local public agencies; and does related work as required. The General Manager serves as Chief Executive Officer of this complex agency, coordinating the work of a team of highly skilled professional managers and a large, diverse workforce to exercise administrative direction and coordination over employees engaged in the operation of the SFPUC's three major utilities (power, water, and wastewater) and the support bureaus.
