The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking an to hire an experienced Sponsor Funded Professional - Laboratory Supervisor to provide support to the Department of Psychology.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The ideal candidate for this position will manage the Dotson Laboratory within the Department of Psychology.

THE ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE THE FOLLOWING:
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of lab research personnel (e.g on-boarding and training new personnel, training existing personnel on new procedures)
  • Manage day-to-day lab operations (e.g. establishing standard operating procedures, preparing lab manuals, and monitoring/coordinating activity across multiple grant-funded studies)
  • Manage IRB protocols, assist with grant progress reports, and coordinate the writing of scientific manuscripts.
  • Assist with research execution (e.g., participant recruitment, data collection).

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • An Ph.D. in the assigned research area and three years of laboratory research experience; or Master's degree in the assigned research area and five years of laboratory research experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Shift: 8:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.

Salary: $60,600 - $70,000

Pay Grade: NPP
