Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandiser to assist Guests with merchandise purchases and equipment rentals at park locations. You will operate a cash register, perform sales and customer service tasks, and keep a neat, friendly image while enforcing park policies.

The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement, with per-session pay of $10.50 per hour and benefits like free tickets for family and friends.

Qualifications

• Cash handling departments may be required to pass a math test
• Good communication skills/ reading and writing skills
• Ability to learn toeffective and accurate use of a cash register
• Work a minimum of 10 hours per week
• Be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including reading, speaking, and understanding English

Responsibilities

• Operating cash register with reasonable accuracy and efficiency
• Performing sales and customer service functions
• Maintaining an image of neat, friendly, and pleasant
• Maintaining a clean and safe sales area and work environment
• Communicating effectively with lead or supervisor
• Stocking bins, shelves, and displays with merchandise
• Enforcing all Six Flags policies
• Assisting in other areas of the Retail Merchandising Department
• Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Overview

Assists Guests in selecting and purchasing merchandise and/or renting park equipment at merchandise and rental locations throughout the park. This position is accountable for delivering a superior Guest experience while enforcing all park policies and procedures.
