Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking an On-site SANE RN in Springfield, IL to provide specialized care to sexual assault survivors. You will work across Memorial Health facilities, meeting patient needs and engaging in ongoing professional education.

Requires IL SANE-A or SANE-P with IAFN board certification and 2+ years of direct care in emergency/critical care or maternal child health. This PRN, on-site role offers benefits including PTO, Employee Assistance Program, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Illinois SANE-A or SANE-P clinical requirements completed and approved by Illinois Attorney General’s Office.
• IAFN SANE board certification (SANE-A or SANE-P).
• Two years’ direct care experience in emergency, critical care, and/or maternal child health is required.

• Provide specialized care, examination, and treatment to sexual assault survivors.
• Collaborate across professions within and beyond Memorial Health to meet patient needs.

Position Type: On-site

Job Description Summary: Hours vary. PRN requirement: 36 hours per 6 weeks, Weekend requirement: 16 hours over 3 months. Location: Springfield Memorial and Decatur Memorial. Operates within Memorial Health mission, vision, goals and objectives. Provides specialized care, examination, and treatment to sexual assault survivors. Openly collaborates across professions within and beyond MHS to meet individualized patient needs. Engages in continuing education to stay up to date on current legislation and evidence-based practice. Must be able to function independently as a SANE RN and have completed the Illinois SANE-A or SANE-P clinical requirements, with approval from the Illinois Attorney General’s Office and board certification through the IAFN (SANE-A or SANE-P).

Education

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registry

• Current licensure as an R.N. in the State of Illinois.
• Completion of the Illinois SANE-A or SANE P.
• IAFN SANE board certification (SANE-A or SANE-P).
• Two (2) years’ direct care experience in emergency, critical care, and/or maternal child health is required.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Excellent verbal communication skills is required.
• Ability to work across multiple sites of care required.
• Interprofessional relationships.

Pay Transparency

• $28.98 - $43.47
• Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role.
• Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
