Staffmark Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Sewing Operator to support sewing, quilting, assembly and related processes. You will help produce quality products and meet production goals in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position.
• Industrial sewing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate within various manufacturing departments applying Sewing, Quilting, Assembly, Packing, Foam Encasement, Gluing, Borders, Coiling, and Closing.
• Produce quality products while meeting production goals.
• Perform routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Monitor production processes, gauges, controls, and equipment performance.
• Report equipment issues and make minor adjustments when appropriate.
• Assemble components and manufactured products using hand and power tools.
• Follow established procedures for manufacturing equipment operation.
• Measure and prepare raw materials for production.
• Maintain quality standards and follow all safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and cross-functional teamwork.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.

• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
