Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a hands-on sewing operator to assemble patio umbrellas by hand and operate an industrial pipe sewing machine. You will stitch fabric panels, finish seams neatly, attach hardware, and inspect finished umbrellas for quality.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to stand for long periods, and the willingness to lift up to 25 lbs. Training across production areas may be provided to support cross-functional work.

Qualifications

• Experience sewing and assembling fabric panels to pattern specifications.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift during shift.
• Willingness to cross-train in different production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch fabric panels together according to patterns and dimensions.
• Ensure seams are finished neatly and securely to maintain quality.
• Perform manual assembly tasks such as attaching hardware and components to umbrella assemblies.
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency and make adjustments as needed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines when operating machinery and handling materials.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area for a safe, efficient workspace.
• Occasionally assist in other production tasks and cross-train in different areas of umbrella manufacturing.
