Job summary

WeatherTech Direct is seeking skilled Sewing Machine Operators to operate industrial sewing machines to produce parts. The role involves operating sewing equipment, trimming fabric with CNC cutting, labeling, and packing finished products while maintaining safety and quality standards. Base pay starts at $20.50 per hour with a $1/hour shift premium for 2nd shift.

Excellent performers may receive end-of-year bonuses and pay raises. Weekend availability and punctuality are valued.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with commercial sewing
• Basic knowledge of threading and sewing machine maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read and understand English work orders/instructions
• Availability to work weekends and overtime

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machinery and equipment used in production
• Use CNC cutting machine to cut fabric into correct shapes
• Lift and transfer raw materials, finished product and packed materials
• Create and print labels using ERP system
• Inspect parts and ensure quality standards; report defects
