Qualifications

• Experience fabricating and distributing lifting and rigging equipment.
• Expertise in slings (nylon, polyester, wire rope) and rigging hardware.
• Knowledge of lifting and rigging standards and materials.
• Ability to operate sewing machines safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines to sew web slings for overhead lifting purposes.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or other specifications to determine sewing requirements.
• Prepare materials, cutting fabric, straps and components per measurements.
• Set up sewing machines with proper tension, stitch length, and thread alignment.
• Inspect finished products for defects meeting quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Report equipment malfunctions for timely resolution.
