Job summary

Olympus Group in Milwaukee, WI, seeks a Sewing Lead and Pattern Maker to lead a sewing team onsite at HQ. You will oversee production schedules, mentor team members in sewing, pattern making, and garment construction, and ensure quality standards.

Required: at least 5 years in sewing/patterning/garment construction, strong leadership, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual Spanish-English preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sewing, patterning, and garment construction.
• Bilingual Spanish-English strongly preferred to communicate with your team.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industrial sewing machines and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of sewers to ensure that all products are produced to the highest quality standards.
• Train and mentor new team members on sewing techniques, pattern making, and best practices.
• Monitor production schedules to ensure that all orders are completed on time.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all products meet customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any sewing-related issues that arise.
