Pinellas County Government is hiring a Sewer Operations Specialist 3 for three positions based in Largo/Palm Harbor, with a 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. schedule.

The Utilities Operations Specialist 3 is skilled technical work involving specialized testing, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems equipment, lines, or devices. Employees in this class perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of utilities systems and devices. Duties may include supervising skilled and semi-skilled employees, and work is performed in accordance with established procedures, but requires initiative and independent judgment.
This is an excellent opportunity to bring utility maintenance experience into a mid-level career ladder role and train for a Utilities Operations Specialist 3 (UOS3) level. There are future opportunities to advance to a UOS4 level, supervisor or manager roles.
