Job summary

Miller Pipeline is hiring Sewer Locators. Duties include using robotic CCTV camera equipment to inspect, locate, and map sanitary and storm sewer systems.

Main Responsibilities: lift tools, data entry, maintenance, locate mains and laterals, draw maps, communicate with city utilities, transfer data, operate CMV, and maintain a safe job site. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; basic computer and electronics use; strong work ethic and teamwork; clean driving record and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer and electronics skills.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain a DOT physical.
• CMV driving and regional travel to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Properly lift tools, objects and equipment of varying weight.
• Data entry on PC video recording software.
• Regular maintenance of mechanical and electronic equipment.
• Use receiver to accurately locate sewer mains and laterals.
• Legibly draw sewer map of construction area.
• Communicate with city utility departments.
• Transfer data between rig and central servers.
• Drive pickup truck/trailer or CMV.
• Set up and maintain safe job site and safe work practices.
• Compress soil and asphalt.
• Shovel material, soil and cold patch asphalt mix.
• Operate vehicles used for hauling.
• Assist in the demolition, take-up and reconditioning of old pipe.
• Score and break asphalt or concrete with a jackhammer.
• Repair backfilled trench areas with grass seed or asphalt.
