Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License required.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) strongly preferred; CDL-A required for higher Service Worker levels.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, licenses, and training.
• Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, construction, inspection, and operational duties on City infrastructure, utilities, facilities, parks, equipment, and public property.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, equipment, vehicles, and machinery.
• Respond to snow and ice control operations and emergencies.
• Ensure safety compliance and use PPE.
• Document work activities, inspections, maintenance records, and operational reports.
• Assist with special projects and seasonal operations.
• Locate underground utilities and respond to OUPS requests.
