Advanced Imaging Strategies seeks a Setup Technician and Delivery Driver to safely deliver copiers and related equipment to client sites, then install, configure network settings, and train end users. The role blends hands-on technical work with service excellence, requiring a valid license, physical capability to lift heavy items, and experience with copier/IT

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 2+ years’ experience in copier/IT equipment installation or delivery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic networking knowledge.
• Ability to lift 55+ lbs with proper equipment and assistance.

Responsibilities

• Delivery: safely load, transport, and deliver copiers to customer sites.
• Setup/installation: unpack, assemble, connect, and configure devices.
• Documentation: ensure accurate shipment records and serial numbers.
• Customer service: orient users and secure sign-off for work orders.
• Warehouse: assist with incoming shipments and inventory counts.

If you enjoy a balance of physical work, technical problem-solving, and direct customer interaction, this hybrid role offers the best of both worlds.Purpose: This role supports AIS’s purpose “To provide technology that works and revolutionizes Client’s business with service they’ll fall in love with”.Major Goals:On-Time Delivery Rate – 95% or betterAverage Install Time - 2hrs per unit or lessNetwork Integration Form (NIF) Setup Accuracy - 95% or betterToughest Parts of the Job:Manage safe transport and handling of equipment while ensuring accuracy and customer experienceMeet deadlines under varying conditions while following all laws and regulationsHandling periods of strenuous physical activityJob Functions: The Setup Technician and Delivery Driver is a critical member of our Logistics team responsible for the safe, timely delivery of equipment and accurate setup, configuration, and customer training of devices.Daily responsibilities include but not limited to:DeliverySafely load, transport, and deliver copiers and supplies to customer sites.Ensure on-time delivery and accurate documentation of shipments.Provide end-user orientation and basic training on equipment functions.Follow DOT and OSHA safety guidelines for handling and securing equipment.Maintain delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with inspections and service schedules.Setup and InstallationUnpack, assemble, and connect copiers and related hardware.Configure network settings (print, scan, fax) according to customer requirements.Ensure complete and correct documentation of serial numbersPerform quality checks to ensure devices are fully operational before handoff.Customer ServiceAct as the company’s frontline representative during delivery and setup.Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving installation issues promptly.Secure customer sign-off for completed work orders.Compliance and SafetyAdhere to company policies on vehicle operation, equipment handling, and workplace safety.Report accidents, incidents, or damages immediately.Use proper tools (dollies, straps, lift gates) consistently and safely.WarehouseAssist with processing daily incoming shipments.Break down and dispose of cardboard boxes appropriately.Ensure all warehouse tools and equipment are in proper working order and returned to their designated place at the end of each day.Perform inventory management tasks including system updates, stock transfers, and physical counts as required.Other duties as assigned.Who we are:AIS is a Premier IT Business Technology Company headquartered out of North Las Vegas, NV with additional branches in Southern California.AIS’s Core Values: We Adapt and never lose our Integrity to Surpass expectations- We are AIS-NOW.
