Utah State University in Logan is seeking a Setup Team Member to support events by quickly assembling and breaking down chairs, tables, and stages across campus venues. This is a non-benefited hourly, part-time role with a pay of $13.00 per hour.

You will join a fast-paced team, maintain reliable schedules, and present a professional image while coordinating with various campus partners. Availability for some nights and weekends is required to cover event needs.

Overview

The Office of Events is a growing department whose primary function is to assure the events hosted by Utah State University, "Exceed Expectations". The primary purpose of this position is to work with a fast-paced team setting up and taking down chairs, tables, and stages for various events on campus.

This is an ACA Variable position.

Advertised Salary

This position requires considerable physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs.) and/or pushing and pulling of heavy objects. Employees must be prepared to assume uncomfortable positions, such as crawling, kneeling, and squatting. Employees work outside and will not be protected from weather conditions, including extreme cold and extreme heat for extended periods. Able and willing to work 15-20 hours a week
