  • - Prepare and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations and period‑over‑period fluctuations, identifying key drivers and clearly communicating results to management.
  • - Prepare weekly cash forecasts to support Treasury's liquidity planning and cash management activities.
  • - Develop, document, and continuously improve procedures and controls to ensure accounting and settlement activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
Quarterly Reporting and Regulatory Responsibilities
  • - Prepare quarterly balance sheet fluctuation analyses, identify significant period‑over‑period changes, and present findings to management.
  • - Prepare supporting schedules, workpapers, and documentation in response to quarterly audit requests.
  • - Assist with the preparation and review of FERC Electric Quarterly Report (EQR) filings and other regulatory reporting requirements.
  • - Collaborate with Accounting, Commercial, Treasury, Legal, and other business functions to ensure financial and regulatory reporting is accurate, complete, and timely.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • - Work closely with Contract Administration, Front and Middle Offices, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Settlements, Treasury, Credit, Information Technology, Legal, and other business partners to compile, analyze, and communicate financial and operational information.
  • - Build strong working relationships across the organization to resolve issues, support business initiatives, and improve the flow of information between Commercial and Accounting teams.
Process Improvement
  • - Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes, improve controls, increase efficiency, and promote best practices across accounting and settlement activities.
  • - Support system enhancements, new business initiatives, and other projects that impact Commercial Accounting and Settlements.
Audit Support
  • - Serve as a point of contact for assigned audit requests and work directly with internal and external auditors to provide supporting documentation, explain processes, and resolve questions in a timely manner.
