Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG in the United States is seeking a skilled machine operator to set up and program operating machines, and perform accuracy checks in test sequences.

You will oversee ramp-up, support operators, assist maintenance to prevent downtime, and maintain records of production and inspections. This role requires English communication, ability to read blueprints, lift medium-heavy objects, and be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and identify defects.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate in English.
• Ability to operate complex inspection machinery.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Preferred: multiple years of experience operating complex machines in manufacturing.
• Preferred: experience with power tools.
• Preferred: ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Your Key Responsibilities

Set up and programming of operating machines including accuracy and effectiveness checks in various test sequences

Oversee ramp up of machines after setup procedure and support Operators in operating the machines

Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines

Follow documented procedures and processes and maintain accurate records and tracking

Check finished product/product component and submits for approval

Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Your Qualifications

Required:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Ability to use instruments for measuring and to identify defects

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communications in English

Ability to operate complex machinery for use in inspection

Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred:

Multiple years of experience operating complex machines in a manufacturing environment

Experience working with power tools

Ability to read and interpret blueprints
