Night Shift: 6 pm - 6:30 am

The Set-Up Mechanic (Compressing) is responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting equipment to manufacture/package products, ensuring compliance with SOPs, safety rules, and GMPs. The position reports to the Department Leader and collaborates with cross-functional teams to produce quality vitamins.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan changeover schedules, including cleaning, inspection, setup, and start-up of equipment.
• Use hand tools and material handling equipment for precise setup during changeovers.
• Make adjustments to improve production, meet quality and efficiency targets, and optimize changeover times.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Assist in diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions.
• Communicate with leads and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain documentation including logs and production records.
• Follow safety rules, SOPs, and GMPs at all times.
• Support production operations in various roles as needed.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is flexible, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.

Critical Success Factors

• Minimum of 1-year experience in manufacturing/packaging operations or as a machine setup mechanic.

Required Skills & Capabilities

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds using equipment.
• Basic arithmetic skills for routine calculations.
