Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Illinois. You will play a key role in receiving, storing, and shipping parts, supporting field colleagues, and keeping operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has strong planning, communication, and multitasking skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Prior warehousing experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent required.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Administers and operates the organization's warehouses, providing administrative support for efficient shipping, receiving, processing, packaging, storing and ordering of tools, supplies, materials and equipment.
• Responsible for supporting receiving and shipping parts in an efficient manner.
• Provides project and service support to field colleagues and supports office colleagues as needed.
• May provide support for fleet and facilities management programs.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements:

Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience: (but not required):

• 1-3 years relevant warehousing or shipping/receiving
• Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, data-cable installation and/or building automation
