Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Route Driver/Account Representative in Erie, PA to manage a daily route, restock vending machines, and ensure product quality. The role requires driving a company vehicle, handling cash, and maintaining inventory with a strong customer service mindset.

The candidate should be dependable, able to work weekends, and comfortable using handheld devices. Prior route driving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Able to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb, and perform repetitive movements throughout the day.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in warehouses, around machinery and noise.
• Comfortable using handheld electronic devices.
• Participation in BYOD program with your own smartphone meeting security standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle and follow traffic laws.
• Inspect truck before/after each route and report issues.
• Stock and restock vending machines and markets; rotate products for freshness.
• Load/unload product between warehouse and truck; maintain inventory counts.
• Perform minor machine maintenance and balance coin tubes.
• Collect cash from machines; enter pricing accurately in handheld devices.
• Provide prompt, professional customer service and maintain a clean, organized presentation.

Join our team as a Route Driver/Account Representative, where you'll play a key role in servicing customer locations, restocking vending machines and markets, ensuring product quality, and representing our company with professionalism.

Job Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a Route Driver/Account Representative, you'll independently manage a daily route and ensure our customers receive excellent service. Key responsibilities include:

Daily Route & Safety

• Safely operate a company vehicle, following all traffic laws and driving best practices.
• Inspect the truck before and after each route and report any issues.
• Maneuver in and out of receiving docks, service bays, tight corners, and high‑traffic areas.

Stocking & Merchandising

• Load and unload product between the warehouse and truck.
• Restock vending machines and markets, ensuring they are clean, full, organized, and functioning properly.
• Rotate products to maintain freshness and uphold quality and sanitation standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts, reporting usage, waste, and returning unused stock.

Service & Maintenance

• Perform minor machine maintenance (clearing jams, updating pricing, etc.).
• Clean machines as needed and balance coin tubes.
• Resolve basic equipment issues and report any major repair needs.

Cash Handling & Accountability

• Collect and transport cash from machines and markets.
• Make accurate entries in handheld devices and ensure pricing matches across systems.

Customer Experience

• Support customer needs promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and customer‑ready presentation at all times.
• Contribute to a positive, cooperative team environment.
