Job summary
Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Services Specialist to manage resources and logistics for services and maintenance on customer sites. You will contribute to maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of products, ensuring adherence to design objectives and specifications.
The role requires a high school diploma with 4+ years in field maintenance, LV electrical troubleshooting, and familiarity with networking concepts. Travel 65-80% and strong computer literacy are expected.
Qualifications
- Have a High school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in field maintenance, ideally in an industrial environment.
- Have experience in Low Voltage electrical troubleshooting.
- Have been exposed to general networking practices/architectures.
- Able to travel 65-80% of the time by vehicle or air travel depending on location.
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite and Windows operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Handle testing and validation of equipment, facility, or plant per design objectives or specifications for operational use.
- Communicate findings and recommendations via reports and verbal communication.
- Maintain calibration of specialized tools.

As a Field Services Specialist, you will be responsible for all resources and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' sites/properties. These activities contribute to maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing sold or existing products
Handling all activities related to the testing and validation of equipment, facility, or plant in accordance with the design objectives or specifications for operational use.
Communicating effectively the findings and recommendations via reports and verbal communication.
Maintaining calibration of specialized tools.
Handling standardized project processes and guidelines for choosing the right actions.
Relaying and implementing the processes and procedures that are frequently updated by other functions
Working on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks
Have High school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience with field maintenance ideally in an industrial environment
