Job summary
Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Services Specialist to manage all resources and logistics for on-site services and maintenance on customer sites. You will contribute to maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing products in a fast-paced industrial environment.
The role requires a HS diploma or GED with 4+ years of field maintenance, knowledge of low voltage troubleshooting, and general networking exposure. Travel 65-80% is expected, with strong Microsoft Office and Windows OS skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required with 4+ years in field maintenance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, applied engineering or technology preferred.
- Experience with low voltage electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with general networking concepts and architectures.
Responsibilities
- Handle testing and validation of equipment, facility, or plant per design objectives or specifications for operational use.
- Communicate findings and recommendations via reports and verbal communication.
- Maintain calibration of specialized tools.
- Follow standardized project processes and guidelines for actions.
- Implement processes updated by other functions and relay information
- Work based on predefined contracts and frameworks.

As aServices Specialist, you willbe responsible for:
Handling all activities related to the testing and validation of equipment, facility, or plantin accordance withthe designobjectivesor specifications for operational use.
Communicating effectivelythe findings and recommendations via reports and verbal communication.
Maintaining calibration of specialized tools.
Handling standardized project processes and guidelines for choosing the right actions.
Relaying and implementing the processes and procedures that arefrequentlyupdated by other functions
Workingon the basis ofpredefined contracts and frameworks
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have High school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience with field maintenance ideally in an industrial environment
Have experience in Low Voltage electrical troubleshooting.
Have been exposed to general networking practices/architectures.
Have been able to travel 65-80% of the time both by vehicle and air travel depending on location.
Have computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office suite and Windows Operating Systems.
Preferred qualifications:
Have aBachelor'sdegree from an accredited university or collegein Engineering, applied engineering or technology.
