Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow Software Development Engineer (Data & Implementation) in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on building robust data pipelines, implementing enterprise solutions, and automating data flows for SecOps and IRM.

You will collaborate with senior developers, configure Risk Management modules, and develop APIs and automation to ensure data integrity and scalable platform intelligence.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required.
  • 4+ years of software development experience with a minimum of 3 years hands-on ServiceNow development.
  • Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in a related technical field.
  • Experience mapping external tool data into the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of a scripting language (Java preferred).
  • Security+ (or equivalent IAT Level II) must be obtained within 1 month of start.

Responsibilities

  • IRM & SecOps implementation: Support development and configuration of Risk Management, Policy & Compliance, and Vulnerability Response modules.
  • Data Integration & Validation: Build data ingestion using Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Data Sources with rigorous validation.
  • Flow Automation: Design automation using Flow Designer with decision logic and error handling.
  • Platform Scripting: Develop server-side and client-side logic using JavaScript, GlideRecord, and Business Rules.
  • API Development: Maintain REST APIs and Scripted REST APIs for external tool integration.
  • Continuous Monitoring: Develop Scheduled Jobs and background processes for automated evidence collection and CAM.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Debug platform issues and modernize legacy workflows.

This role focuses on engineering robust data pipelines and automation for Security Operations (SecOps) and Integrated Risk Management (IRM). Supporting the Lead Engineer and Senior Developers, you will bridge the gap between raw security data and actionable platform intelligence by developing scalable code and managing complex data ingestion. **Responsibilities:*** IRM & SecOps Implementation: Support the technical development and configuration of Risk Management, Policy & Compliance, and Vulnerability Response modules* Data Integration & Validation: Build and manage data ingestion using Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Data Sources.
