Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Engineer to provide high-level technical and consultative support. You will analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specifications, and stay current with industry trends.

The role may lead projects and train staff, ensuring platform stability and best practices. This onsite position involves collaborating with internal teams, delivering reporting strategies, and advancing ServiceNow ITSM/CSM solutions across corporate offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in application development, ITSM and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve issues against ServiceNow applications.
• Advise internal teams and lines of business regarding process and technology inefficiencies within the platform.
• Perform routine maintenance including performance monitoring and error identification/remediation.
• Maintain and improve platform stability and incorporate best practices.
• Experience with ServiceNow best practices and remediation of technical debt in Now platform.
• Manage Instance Security, User/Group access, roles and ACLs.
• Provide training and knowledge across the platform to internal teams and external partners.
• Develop reporting strategy and maintenance plan for platform-wide reporting.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP).

Summary

The ServiceNow Platform Engineer provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters. Provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters. Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications. Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support. Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends. May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff. May serve as project leader for specific projects.

• Maintain and improve the overall stability of the platform ensuring best practices are identified and incorporated into the platform
• Experience with ServiceNow best practices and understand the best solutions to remediate technical debt in the Now platform
• Manage Instance Security, User/Group access, roles and associated relationships, and Access Control Lists (ACLs)
• Provide training and knowledge across the platform to our internal team and external business partners
• Develop reporting strategy and maintenance plan for platform wide reporting
• Strong knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming (OOP)

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ yrs of experience in application development plan, ITSM and Service Now

Preferred Qualifications

• Configuration and modification of the ServiceNow platform in the following areas IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), Intelligent Apps, HR Service Delivery, Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM)
• Familiarity with the User Experience Tools, Service Intelligence, and Service Experiences
• Knowledge and Experience working with Web Services, REST, JSONv2
