Job summary

COLSA is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support the NASA Transformational Shared Services contract for the NASA Shared Services Center at Stennis Space Center, MS. The role focuses on developing, configuring, and enhancing ServiceNow apps to automate and improve business processes in a fully remote environment within the United States.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years IT experience, hands-on ServiceNow scripting, and knowledge of ITSM/HRSD/ITFM/ITBM/SAM modules. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of overall information technology experience.
• 1+ years of experience developing ServiceNow workflows, including client-side and server-side scripting.
• 1+ years of experience with ServiceNow modules (ITSM, HRSD, ITFM, ITBM, SAM).
• Knowledge of IT software development methodologies and scripting languages.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a NASA Public Trust background check.

COLSA is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support our NASA Transformational Shared Services (NTSS) contract supporting the NASA Shared Services Center at Stennis Space Center, MS. This position will support the development, configuration, and enhancement of ServiceNow applications and solutions to automate and improve business processes.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates residing in the United States, excluding the following states: AR, CT, DE, HI, IA, KS, MT, NE, NJ, NY, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY. Candidates within reasonable commuting distance of Stennis Space Center, MS, may be preferred to support potential onsite needs associated with the contract.

• Recommend solutions to automate new and existing business processes using ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Activate and configure ServiceNow applications to meet business and customer requirements.
• Develop workflows and scripts to configure and enhance existing ServiceNow applications.
• Develop custom ServiceNow applications from initial design through implementation to automate and improve business processes.
• Work closely with customers to research, design, develop, and deliver solutions that improve business processes and functionality.
• Assist in identifying and applying best practices for the development and maintenance of ServiceNow applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving software applications, system integrations, and multiple platforms.
• Support system and software deployment planning and ensure solutions meet applicable software compliance standards.
• Evaluate hardware and software interfaces, operational requirements, and overall system characteristics.
• Develop and maintain software and technical documentation in accordance with organizational standards.

Required Experience

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of overall information technology experience.
• 1+ years of experience developing ServiceNow workflows, including client-side and server-side scripting.
• 1+ years of experience with ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to IT Service Management (ITSM), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), IT Financial Management (ITFM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Knowledge of information technology software development methodologies and scripting/programming languages.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to successfully complete a background investigation for a NASA Public Trust position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Resides within reasonable commuting distance of Stennis Space Center, MS.
• ServiceNow certification, such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Previous experience supporting NASA IT programs or environments, with familiarity with applicable NASA processes, policies, and operating requirements.
• Experience with web services and databases.
• Knowledge of .NET, JavaScript, web development, and ServiceNow development.
• Internal candidates who are at risk due to loss of project or contract funding may be given preference.
