Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) seeks a Mid-level ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team supporting a large Federal agency. You will build HRSD functionality, implement HR service requests, and collaborate with analysts in an Agile setting.

The role requires ServiceNow development experience, CSA certification, and strong communication skills. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 3–7 years of related experience, with a focus on reports, dashboards, workflows, and HR processes.

• ServiceNow CSA certification.
• Experience creating reports/dashboards, customized forms, and workflows in ServiceNow.
• Experience working with Agile Development and Test Management applications of ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Experience working in an Agile project environment with an emphasis on frequently delivering functional software releases at a sustainable pace.

Responsibilities

• Develop ServiceNow HRSD functionality and solutions.
• Implement multiple HR Service Requests within the HRSD scope.
• Create applications to facilitate employee service requests to HR and HR fulfillment processes.
• Refactor ServiceNow customizations during major updates.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts in an Agile environment.
• Understand backend configuration of ServiceNow and design tests with test data.
• Support configuration, change, and release management.
• Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of work products.

Skills and attributes for success:

• Utilize Angular.JS, JavaScript, SQL and related technologies for ServiceNow development
• Support the discovery, requirements gathering, and the build out of core ServiceNow functionality
• Implement multiple HR Service Requests within the HRSD scope in ServiceNow
• Develop applications to facilitate Employee service requests to HR and HR fulfillment process

Ideally, you will have:

• Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery application
• Familiarity with Human Resources business processes
• Experience with business analysis or requirements gathering
