Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Manager ServiceNow Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology. You will lead discovery, translate requirements into user stories, and drive Agile delivery with stakeholders and multi-vendor teams.

This remote role favors candidates in the United States, including Irving, TX proximity. You will coordinate UAT, track defects, and manage scope and communication across projects, ensuring successful ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Process Analyst within IT organizations.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, CSM, FSM, Asset Management or similar).
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
• At least one additional active ServiceNow certification (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-CSM, CIS-FSM, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM).
• Proven experience gathering requirements and translating them into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments with sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Experience supporting UAT activities and defect tracking.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multi-vendor environments.

About the Role

As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging business needs and technology solutions by translating complex requirements into actionable deliverables that drive successful ServiceNow implementations and enhancements. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and project teams to improve business processes and deliver impactful solutions across the ServiceNow platform.

In this role, you will:

• Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams.

• Partner with product owners and delivery teams to prioritize backlogs and support Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Process Analyst within IT organizations.

• Experience working across multiple ServiceNow modules and business functions.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow best practices, governance, and platform capabilities.
• Experience with workflow optimization and business process improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $119,000 - $135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
