Description

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Architect to join our clients ServiceNow practice and help drive the strategic evolution of a large-scale, enterprise ServiceNow environment. This individual will serve as a trusted technical leader, guiding platform direction, architecture decisions, governance, and adoption of ServiceNow best practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings broad ServiceNow platform expertise, with deep knowledge in at least one of the following areas: ITSM, CSM, or ITOM. While integration experience is beneficial, this role is not centered on integrations. Instead, the focus is on maximizing the value of the ServiceNow platform through scalable architecture, platform governance, and thoughtful use of out-of-the-box capabilities.

This consultant will partner closely with platform leadership and solution architecture teams to ensure the platform remains scalable, maintainable, and aligned with ServiceNow's intended design principles.

ServiceNow Platform Architect Experience

Demonstrated experience serving as a ServiceNow Platform Architect responsible for the overall health, scalability, and roadmap of a ServiceNow environment.

Strong Functional Expertise

Deep knowledge in at least one of the following ServiceNow product areas:

• IT Service Management (ITSM)
• Customer Service Management (CSM)
• IT Operations Management (ITOM)

Out-of-the-Box Platform Focus

Strong understanding of ServiceNow's native capabilities and platform framework. The ideal candidate advocates for leveraging out-of-the-box functionality whenever possible rather than relying heavily on custom development.

Platform Governance & Architecture

Experience establishing architectural standards, governance processes, platform design patterns, and best practices to ensure long-term sustainability of the environment.

Enterprise ServiceNow Experience

Experience supporting complex enterprise ServiceNow implementations, including large user bases, multiple business units, and mature platform operations.

Strategic Thinking

Ability to evaluate business needs and translate them into scalable platform solutions while balancing technical debt, maintainability, and future platform enhancements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Ability to work closely with platform leadership, technical teams, developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to align architecture decisions with organizational objectives.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Davenport, IA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
