NetImpact Strategies is seeking a ServiceNow / API Engineer – Integration Architecture to design secure, reliable integrations between ServiceNow and federal enterprise systems as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting a federal customer. This role is remote within the United States.

The candidate should have 5+ years of enterprise systems integration or software engineering experience, including REST API and ServiceNow integration work, with hands-on work using Integration Hub, Flow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in enterprise systems integration or software engineering with REST API and ServiceNow work.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub, Flow Designer, scripting, authentication, and interface troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of API security, access controls, logging, error handling, and integration testing.
• Ability to document architectures and work within controlled production change processes.

• Design and maintain an inventory of approved interfaces, system ownership, data flows, dependencies, and authentication methods.

• Troubleshoot integration performance and data transfer exceptions with platform and application teams.
• Document architecture decisions, technical runbooks, and deployment evidence for approval.

Job Description

NetImpact Strategies has an opportunity for a ServiceNow / API Engineer – Integration Architecture to design secure, reliable integrations among ServiceNow and authorized federal enterprise systems as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting a federal customer. The senior engineer collaborates with operational and technical partners to deliver dependable services and measurable user outcomes; this position is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain an inventory of approved interfaces, system ownership, data flows, dependencies, and authentication methods.
• Engineer integrations using approved APIs, ServiceNow Integration Hub, Flow Designer, and supported integration services.

• 5+ years of enterprise systems integration or software engineering experience, including substantial REST API and ServiceNow integration work.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub, Flow Designer, scripting, authentication, and interface troubleshooting.
• Understanding of API security, access controls, logging, error handling, and integration testing.
• Ability to document architectures and work within controlled production change processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or relevant implementation certification.
• Experience with HL7/FHIR or federal healthcare systems, where applicable.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with Microsoft 365, monitoring platforms, and enterprise data services.

Location Requirement

Remote (United States). Travel as required for approved program activities; frequency to be confirmed. Travel is subject to project needs and authorization.

Federal access requirements: Ability to satisfy applicable customer background screening, identity credentialing, and system-access requirements.

The posted salary range for this role is $135,000-160,000. The posted salary range is not an exact indication of the actual compensation offered and is instead a range of what NetImpact, in good faith, could compensate at the lowest and most high end of the salary market. In general, NetImpact may not pay the top of the salary range.
