Job summary

Saia Inc. is seeking an IT Platform Administrator to design, configure, and maintain enterprise IT applications and automated workflows across functions.

You will implement new modules, perform upgrades, customize features, and ensure secure, scalable operations while documenting processes and training users. This role requires a bachelor’s in IT or CS, 2+ years in platform admin, and proficiency with scripting and API integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of IT platform administration or related experience.
• Knowledge of enterprise IT platform capabilities, including workflow automation, system configuration, and application integration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and API integrations.
• Certified in enterprise IT platform administration or IT service management.

Responsibilities

• Develops and configures enterprise IT applications, forms, and automated workflows to improve business processes across multiple functions.
• Implements new system modules, performs architectural changes, and manages platform upgrades.
• Customizes applications and introduces new functionalities to support evolving business needs.
• Uses scripting and programming languages to create custom features, business rules, and reports.
• Integrates the platform with other business applications using web services and APIs for smooth data exchange.
• Monitors system performance and implements enhancements to improve efficiency, security, scalability, and user experience.
• Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and user guidance.
• Conduits training sessions to enhance user adoption and proficiency with enterprise IT systems.
