Job summary

Centor, Inc. is hiring a Service Worker (Forklift Operator) for the 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm) at Millersburg, OH. The role offers a base pay of $24.35/hour with a $2.00/hour shift differential, totaling $26.35/hour on the 2nd shift.

You will operate forklifts, move materials, and support production and warehouse workflows. The position requires strong safety awareness, basic math, and English literacy. Forklift license is preferred and training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required for safety and teamwork.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment safely and according to established procedures.
• Move materials within production areas and between production and warehouse locations.
• Transport raw materials to and from designated locations.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers regarding safety, quality, maintenance, production, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow established work instructions and assist in writing, revising, and training others on work instructions when needed.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues or notify appropriate personnel when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by following 5S principles.
• Sweep and remove debris from production areas and machinery.
• Lift up to 40 pounds and move materials weighing up to 200 pounds using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Comply with all plant and corporate safety policies and procedures.
• Assist in other departments and perform additional duties as assigned to meet changing business needs.

Summary
