Job summary

United BMW in Roswell, GA is seeking a reliable General Labor team member to keep the designated department area and outside vehicle lots neat and organized. You will move cars between showroom, service, and storage areas and assist with inventory paperwork as needed.

Responsibilities include driving vehicles safely, ensuring documentation is present, preparing keys, greeting customers, and maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and lots.

Qualifications

• Able to safely drive vehicles both automatic and manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles to designated locations to maintain inventory.
• Place all required documentation in vehicles, including window stickers, manuals, promotional materials.
• Create key tags for vehicles, organize and maintain keys for new, used and loaner vehicles.
• Deliver keys and other materials to various departments on request.
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Perform general cleanup of vehicles including dusting, vacuuming, wiping and rinsing.
• Keep vehicle lot(s) neat and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness of designated department.
• Shuttle customers as needed.
• Fill vehicle with fuel.
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Follow all attendance and punctuality standards with adherence to timekeeping standards including recording time of arrival, departure and all breaks.
• Follows lawful directions from supervisors.
• Upholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
• Attends company meetings as required.
• Works evening, weekend, and holiday work hours as required.
• Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area in accordance with company policy.

Essential Functions

• Drives vehicles to and from showroom, exterior vehicle display areas, service department, parking garage or other storage areas to designated location as needed to maintain inventory and assist customers and other dealership employees in retrieval of vehicles
• Ensures all required documentation is placed in vehicles, including but not limited to window stickers, manuals, promotional materials
• Creates key tags for vehicles, organizes and maintains keys for new, used and loaner vehicles
• Delivers keys and other materials various departments on request
• Greets customers in a friendly and professional manner

Preferred Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent; six months or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications (Certification/Licenses/Registrations)

• Valid driver's license
• Individuals under the age of eighteen (18) may not drive vehicles off of the dealership premises.
