Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. seeks a Service Transition Manager to drive service solution strategies across the US, with a preference for Columbia, MD.

You will work with Sales and Service teams to translate customer needs into executable service concepts and SOWs, ensuring alignment with operations and subcontractors. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, develop cost and pricing strategies for SLAs, and oversee training for technicians and partners while managing complex projects and the

Qualifications

• Technical or Business Bachelor's degree required; Electronics degree highly preferred.
• Experience defining requirements and enabling operational delivery for technical products.
• Ability to understand RF/Electrical systems and related documentation.
• PMI/PMP/ILS/Logistics certification are advantages with relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and define operation concepts with sales and customers.
• Identify, implement and validate service delivery concepts, processes, tools and capabilities.
• Ensure service demands align with Service Operations capabilities; develop and review SOWs for RFQs.
• Develop SOWs for subcontractors coordinating with Contracts Team; manage subcontractor performance.
• Develop and implement strategy for service delivery solutions (in-house and third-party).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define SLA costs and pricing.
• Handover service requirements to Service Delivery teams and transition tools/processes.
• Implement training concepts for technicians and subcontractors.
• Manage system and SLA install base; drive process improvements and lean initiatives.
• Document processes and work instructions; lead complex projects.
