Job summary

HD Construction Equipment Hyundai North America is seeking a Service Trainer to plan and deliver comprehensive technical training on Hyundai equipment. The role involves creating engaging content for instructor-led and digital formats, traveling to dealer locations for infield training, and supporting the training group to meet objectives.

The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of construction equipment training experience, strong customer service, and proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction equipment technical training.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Solid organizational, interpersonal & communication skills.
• Must work with Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel on a daily basis.
• Able to travel to provide customer-focused technical training up to 25% or as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate and present training and demonstrations covering technical principles in electrical, hydraulics, engines, and general machine systems at our training center in GA as well as onsite training worldwide when required.
• Develop training content for instructor-led training covering electrical, Diesel engines, hydraulic, and other common machine systems.
• Contribute content for the company knowledge base.
• Develop digital training content appropriate for the curriculum.
• Provide technical support for customers and staff while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Maintain training equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Timely and accurate reporting on training activities, expense reports, and other business-related information.
• Travel approximately one week per month to dealer/distributor/head office locations for infield training of service personnel.

Primary Duties: Plan and deliver consistent and accurate technical training on Hyundai Equipment. Work with members of the training group and other product experts to identify key objectives and create engaging content for various training formats.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Plan, schedule, coordinate and present training and demonstrations covering technical principles in the areas of electrical, hydraulics, engines, and general machine systems at our training center in GA as well as onsite training worldwide when required.
• 2. Develop training content for instructor-led training covering electrical, Diesel engines, hydraulic, and other common machine systems in accordance with objectives established by the training group.
• 3. Contribute content for the company knowledge base.
• 4. Develop digital training content that is appropriate for the curriculum.
• 5. Provide technical support for customers and staff while delivering exceptional customer service.
• 6. Maintain training equipment, tools, and supplies.
• 7. Timely and accurate reporting on training activities, expense reports, and other business-related information.
• 8. Travel approximately one week per month to dealer/distributor/head office locations for infield training of service personnel. Some weekend travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

• -Prepare training materials for training programs
• -Strong communication skills are required for presenting material both written and spoken at times
• -Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• -Gather and make available appropriate training resources (e.g. student guide, computer aids)
• -Work as a team with other training personnel to accomplish training objectives.
• -Travel 50% as required for field training.

Other duties: As required by the training manager.

• - Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction equipment technical training.

• - Solid organizational, interpersonal & communication skills required (especially written)
