Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Driver's License.
• Valid NYS Inspectors' License.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools.
• Possession of personal tools is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on all vehicles as per manufacturer specifications.
• Accurately diagnose and remedy mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete repairs timely while ensuring a high standard of craftsmanship.
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed.
• Communicate clearly with customers about their vehicles and any recommended repairs.
• Keep abreast of new automotive technologies through continuous training.

Compensation ranges from high $20s to $45 per flat-rate hour, based on experience, certification and training.
