Job summary

FreshPure is seeking skilled Service Technicians in Boone, NC for on-call / gig work repairing water vending equipment across retail locations. You’ll diagnose, repair and document service events, with no fixed schedule.

You’ll bring hands-on plumbing and electrical experience, a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and a smartphone to submit photos and reports. This independent contractor role pays $55 per hour and offers flexible side income.

Qualifications

• Hands-on plumbing experience including water lines, valves and connections.
• Hands-on electrical experience including wiring and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment independently.

Service Technician — On-Call / Gig

Got hands-on plumbing and electrical experience? Looking for flexible on-call work that pays well and fits around your schedule? This could be a great fit.

NWS operates water vending machines in retail stores across the country. We’re building a roster of Service Technicians in Boone, NC, to dispatch when a machine needs diagnosis or repair. No licensing required — just solid real-world experience and the ability to figure out what’s wrong and fix it.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to on-call dispatches at retail store locations in your area
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment
• Complete a service report with before and after photos at each visit
• Communicate findings and repair status back to the NWS home office

Some jobs are a quick on-site fix. Others may need a follow-up visit. NWS handles all coordination with the store — you just focus on the repair.

What You Need

The Pay & Setup

• $55/hr all-inclusive — mileage and travel factored into your rate
• 1099 independent contractor — work on your own terms
