American Campus Communities is seeking Service Technicians to join our property maintenance team in Kent, Ohio. You will perform maintenance tasks, address work orders, and support preventative maintenance to keep residents' homes safe and well-kept.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to coordinate with vendors, operate and repair facility equipment, and follow safety protocols. On-call rotations and weather-related responses may apply.
Our Service Technicians are a crucial part of the property’s facilities maintenance team, reporting to the Service Manager or Senior Service Manager. This role involves performing maintenance tasks, executing work orders, and supporting preventative maintenance efforts to ensure the property is well-maintained for our residents. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and cleanliness. Job ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate for the Service Technician role is a detail-oriented and safety-conscious maintenance facilities professional with experience in residential facilities maintenance, including apartment maintenance or maintenance technician responsibilities or a related field, and the ability to support a variety of maintenance tasks. This role includes completing work orders, supporting preventative maintenance, and assisting with overall property upkeep to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment for residents.
