Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on vending and breaktime equipment at customer locations. You will diagnose issues, repair equipment, and maintain strong customer relationships while following safety policies and DOT regulations.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined with a focus on safety, able to lift up to 100 pounds, possess a high school diploma or GED, and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Consent to drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the route.
• Must be at least 21 for DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex maintenance, repairs, and cleaning on vending and breaktime equipment at customer locations.
• Inspect equipment visually and audibly to diagnose malfunctions and determine root causes.
• Dismantle machines and components to access and repair problem areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory of machine parts on the service vehicle and within the warehouse.
• Complete service calls efficiently and perform additional duties as assigned when not on calls.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with client-site employees.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety policies, DOT regulations, and company standards.
