Job summary

Environmental Products Group (EPG) is hiring an experienced Service Technician for our Atlanta Service Team. You will perform pre-delivery work, DOT inspections, and hydraulic/pneumatic repairs on waste collection and related equipment, using CANBUS diagnostics to ensure optimal performance.

You will join a team focused on hands-on development, customer relations, and a culture of quality workmanship. Travel to different locations and strong problem-solving are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on mechanical experience, preferably with heavy equipment.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility and ability to travel to different work locations.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Sharp attention to detail.
• Confidence using computers (email, Excel, Word).
• CDK experience preferred.
• A high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-delivery checks, DOT inspections, and hydraulic/pneumatic repairs.
• PTO and transfer case service and advanced CANBUS diagnostics on trucks.
• Maintain and repair equipment from Witke, Labrie, Leach.

What You’ll Do

As an EPG Service Technician, the work you do directly shapes the customer’s experience. Your mission is to deliver outstanding service every time. You’ll handle pre‑delivery, DOT inspections, hydraulic, pneumatic repairs, PTO and transfer case service, and advanced diagnostics using truck and body CANBUS systems. The equipment you’ll work on includes:

• Witke, Labrie, Leach - solid waste collection and recycle
