Job summary

Renuity is hiring a Field Service Technician for home remodeling projects. You will travel to customer homes to install or repair products, deliver excellent customer service, and document service details. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of field work.

We value experience in window/door installation, glazing, and bath/plumbing, plus a valid driver’s license and own tools. This is a full-time, on-site W2 role supporting a nationwide home improvement brand.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience in window and door installation and general home construction knowledge.
• Glass reglazing experience is required but training can be provided.
• Experience in bath, plumbing, or handyman work is expected.
• Own truck and tools, valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Learn processes and quality standards to deliver A+ customer service.
• Travel to customers' homes to install or repair products.
• Document services performed and fill out reports.
• Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers.
• Lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks with care.

Key Requirements

• Must have proven experience in window and door installation and general home construction knowledge
• Some experience in glass reglazing is required but additional training can be provided
• Experience in bath, plumbing, or handy man experience
• Own truck and tools
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

About This Role

• Learn our processes and quality standards to deliver A+ customer service
• Travel to our customer's homes to install new products or repair existing products
• Take preventative measures, elevate any customer issues to the Service Department
• Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed
• Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers
• Lift and/or move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with your hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for prolonged periods of time
