NWS — FreshPure Water Systems in Springfield, MO is seeking an on-call Service Technician to diagnose and repair water vending equipment across local retail sites. You will respond to dispatches, perform basic plumbing/electrical/mechanical fixes, and document each visit with before/after photos for the home office.

This 1099 contractor role offers flexible, on-demand hours and the ability to fit around your existing trade work, with compensation at $55 per hour all-inclusive.

Qualifications

NWS operates water vending machines in retail stores across the country. We’re building a roster of Service Technicians in Springfield, MO, to dispatch when a machine needs diagnosis or repair. No licensing required — just solid real-world experience and the ability to figure out what’s wrong and fix it.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to on-call dispatches at retail store locations in your area
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment
• Complete a service report with before and after photos at each visit
• Communicate findings and repair status back to the NWS home office

Some jobs are a quick on-site fix. Others may need a follow-up visit. NWS handles all coordination with the store — you just focus on the repair.

What You Need

• Hands-on experience with basic plumbing — water lines, valves, fittings, connections

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment on your own
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Smartphone with camera

The Pay & Setup
